Change the World, One Community at a Time

Do you want to help others living in parks or marinas?  Do you enjoy empowering people?  Do you like the way it feels to make a difference?

We are looking to grow the diversity of our Board. We represent 69,000 park and marina residents from a variety of backgrounds.  OSTA welcomes ALL races & ethnicities, religions, ages, rural & metropolitan regions, countries of origin, genders, sexual orientations, abilities & disabilities, and spoken languages.

OSTA Directors work on a volunteer basis.

We offer:

  • Rewarding work
  • Opportunities to meet other park and marina residents
  • Flexible hours
  • Work from home
  • Paid expenses

Directors’ responsibilities include educating our members, empowering park and marina residents to improve their living situations, growing our membership, advocating for legislative improvements, supporting the formation of new chapters at district parks and marinas, and remaining in contact with chapters once they are formed.

Volunteering is an act of heroism on a grand scale. And it matters profoundly. It does more than help people beat the odds; it changes the odds.

You may not have saved a lot of money in your life, but if you have saved a lot of heartaches for other folks, you are a pretty rich man.
