Rita moved into a manufactured housing community in Tigard, Oregon, in the fall of 1996. She became involved with the state MH/OSTA organization in 2008. Rita was appointed to the Oregon State Association Board in 2008 and began attending her state’s coalition group that fall.
Rita was voted to be the VP of her state association (MH/OSTA) in 2012 and became its president in 2016. She began attending the national NMHOA annual conventions in 2010 and was appointed to the NMHOA Board in 2014. She served as the Convention Committee Chair and the Board Secretary. She is now NMHOA’s West Region Vice President.
