A presentation on The Moratorium and Rental Payment Assistance
Presentation by The Springfield Eugene Tenants Association (SETA)
There have been so many changes to renter protections during the emergency period that it can be difficult to know exactly what is still active and what resources are still available.
Please join SETA this coming Tuesday, 06/22, from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM.
Presenting will be SETA’s Executive Director, Tim Morris, who will discuss what the new
protections are in SB 282, the extension of the rent grace period, and will talk about what local
resources still are accepting applications.

The Oregon Emergency Rental Assistance Program (OERAP) is now open! OERAP will cover
up to 12 months of past-due rent and three months of forward rent, once all past due rent is paid.
OERAP will also cover past due utility costs including electricity, gas, home energy services,
water, sewer, trash removal, internet and bulk fuels.
OERAP is different than the Landlord Compensation Fund as the tenant themselves can submit an application directly. Information may be needed from your landlord to complete this application, but these funds are especially useful for those whose landlords have refused to apply for or been denied applying for the Landlord Compensation Fund.
