First, I want to thank those who reached out to ask, “What happened to the podcasts?”

The short answer: technical problems on the website. I was producing them, but they weren’t showing up as they should. Thanks to some hard work by our team it looks like we have that problem under control. It’s a good thing, too, because there are not only a lot of events coming up but also a lot of news that needs to be shared. Podcasts are an excellent way to get that information out. It is my plan to do one a week, although I don’t want to put one up just to post. I want the content to be valid and important.

With that in mind, I’d also like to once again extend my invitation to those of you out there who may have something newsworthy to talk about. I’d love to have OSTA members come on the podcast so we can hear more about issues in your park. The door is also open to members of not only the State, but also the County and City legislature, who can help keep us up to date on upcoming changes moving through our system.

If you’d like to be a part of one of our podcasts, simply write to my email address at the top of the page. And there is no shortage of topics, and things are getting crazy out here. Some of the topics that are planned for July:

  • A Park manager in Salem has told tenants, “Their park rules supersede the ORS State Law”. We have been invited to their next Association Meeting.

  • A resident in Salem also reached out after receiving a letter stating that posting an OSTA sticker on their front window was unlawful.

  • A tenant in my Park had been getting the“silent treatment” regarding a major water leak. What we did to move that along.

  • We are planning the next OSTA annual meeting. It is planned for October 24. Last year, we were in Eugene and filled the meeting room. Where to next year? What or who would YOU like included in the program? The email is at the top of the page.

One final thing. Please subscribe and download the programs for your friends and neighbors. The more views and subscriptions we have, the more we can use the channel for live-streaming meetings and other content. It costs nothing, and it gives us credibility for what we are doing.

Thanks for your support! I’ll be talking with you soon!
